What's New?
We chose Raggedy
Ann and Andy for the theme of the room. I ordered a 10 piece nursery set that arrived today. I think the room will turn out
so cute.
I have an ultrasound appointment
coming up on June 28th. We'll be getting a 3-D picture which will be really neat to have. I'll be sure to post it on here.

Today we had another ultrasound done. Everything still looks totally normal which is just such a relief. She's

I had a doctor's appointment today and everything is going just fine. I've gained 18 pounds so far which is great.
I've started to go every two weeks now, so I have my next appointment on August 18th. - August 4th, 2004
We found out our baby is breech. - September 29th
I had my baby shower last Saturday on October 2nd. It was a lot of fun. About 16 people came. We had lots of
food, games and prizes. I got a lot of wonderful presents. I got a Snugli, Evenflo Journey Express Stroller, 3 Bibs, 24 outfits/sleepers,
Pink Elmo Burper Rag, Winnie the Pooh Hat and Booties, Diapers, Pink Reversible Coat, 2 Handmade quilts (one
made by my Grandma), 4-in-1 bath station, Ducky Bath Thermometer, Winnie the Pooh Bath Set, Stuffed Bear Rattle,
Ultra Deluxe Nursery/Bath Care Kit, Johnson's Baby Relief Kit, Classic Winnie the Pooh Stuffed Animal, Baby Photo
Album, Baby Journal, 10 Pink Hangers, Disposable Changing Pads, 3 Baby Einstein DVD's- Baby Bach, Baby Mozart, Baby Beethoven,
Baby Songs DVD, Take Along Arch, Baby's First Piggy Bank, and a Pink Rainbow Carebear. I wrote all my thank you
cards yesterday. It was such a fun day.
October 5th
I'm scheduled to have a c-section October 21st. I have two weeks to get everything ready. D.J. and I are
going shopping tomorrow to purchase all the stuff we still need. That should be a lot of fun. I'm feeling
pretty excited but nervous! - October 6th
Well, I'm all packed for the hospital. D.J. and I did a final shop today. We pretty much have everything we need.
I'd like to get her more toys, but I guess that can wait. Anyway, Only five more days until my c-section. It's scheduled for
4PM, but I'm suppose to arrive no later than 2PM. I'm excited but still a little nervous. - October 16th
She's Here!
She was born October 21, 2004 at 6:01PM
She was 6 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches long.
She was delivered by C-Section because she was breech. We stayed in the hospital for four days.
She doesn't like to stay in her bassinet for very long. She would rather be held. She's almost two weeks old and is becoming
more alert. She likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She seems to be perfectly healthy. She has her second doctor's appointment
tomorrow.
- November 3rd
Annika had her two week appointment yesterday. She is now 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long.
:) She had a bath today. She didn't fuss as much as she usually does. We're still waiting for her umbilical cord stump to
fall off. I can't wait. It'll be one less thing to worry about. - November 5th
